All Donk's Settings in CS2

31 December 2024, 02:01

Donk is rightfully considered one of the most promising players in CS2 for the year 2024. This 17-year-old rifler from Russia is already demonstrating great success. He is a member of Team Spirit and has already received his first MVP award. In the game, this esports athlete uses a precise set of settings that contribute to his success. Today, we will discuss all of Donk's settings in CS2. You can use them, but remember that gaming settings depend on personal preferences and abilities of each player and are subjective.

Monitor Modes and Settings

Donk uses the BenQ ZOWIE XL2546K monitor with a 240 Hz refresh rate, popular among many top esports athletes. For gaming, he sets it to Gamer 2 mode, with color setting also at number 2.

Other monitor settings from Donk in CS2:

  • resolution – 1280x960;

  • DyAc mode – Premium;

  • aspect ratio – 4:3;

  • scaling – stretched;

  • display mode – fullscreen;

  • brightness level – 102%.

Stretched scaling of the monitor allows for enlarging the character models on the screen.

It should be noted that the player chooses a specific desk height. Donk sets it at 73 cm, although the standard height is just 2 cm higher at 75 cm. The player explains this preference by saying that 73 is his lucky number.

He places the mouse pad on the table surface so that the elbow does not rest on the table.

Donk's Mouse Settings in CS2

Donk uses the Logitech G Pro X Superlight Magenta mouse. Before setting it up, he makes some changes in the Windows settings. First, he sets the cursor speed to 6 and turns off enhanced pointer precision.

Then, Donk sets individual parameters for the gaming mouse:

  • DPI – 800;

  • Hz – 1000;

  • sensitivity – 1.25;

  • zoom sensitivity – 1;

  • mouse acceleration – 0.

These settings will appeal to CS2 players who like to play with the AK-47 and M4A4. Such parameters allow for more effective spray control due to the low sensitivity.

Donk's Settings in CS2: Graphics

Donk sets his graphics parameters to achieve maximum performance. For this, he uses minimal settings and, in return, gets the maximum FPS. Here are the main settings for graphics:

  • overall shadow quality – medium;

  • motion blur – off;

  • global dimming – off;

  • model and texture details, as well as effects and shaders – low;

  • low latency NVIDIA Reflex – off;

  • NVIDIA G-Sync – off;

  • multicore processing – on.

The current graphics settings, like Donk's, can be considered optimal. Despite the game developers recommending turning on NVIDIA settings (Reflex and G-Sync), the young player disregards them – it's more comfortable for him that way.

Crosshair, Crosshair Reticle

Another important point in Donk's settings in CS2. Detailed settings are described here:

Additionally, it is noted that the crosshair gap does not depend on which weapon is used.

The crosshair is one of the most subjective settings, so there is no universal solution. Donk plays with a small crosshair – not a fact that it will suit you. For this player, a white (non-colored) crosshatch is the optimal option, as it allows complete focus on the events and avoids distractions.

If you still risk exactly replicating Donk's crosshair, use the code:

CSGO-Jhfkc-4UpR6-DJftC-VfGek-pL3ED

You can also use a block of console commands:

cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshairalpha 200;
 cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255;
 cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255;
 cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -4; cl_crosshairsize 1;
 cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 0;
cl_crosshair_sniper_width 0;

Hand Position (ViewModel)

The position of the weapon and hands on the screen can be completely copied and used with Donk's individual settings. To do this, enter the following console command:

viewmodel_fov 68; viewmodel_offset_x 2.5; viewmodel_offset_y 0;
viewmodel_offset_z -1.5; viewmodel_presetpos 2;

You can also enter settings manually. This player's hand position is defined by a 68-degree viewing angle, as well as offsets along the X, Y, and Z axes of 2.5, 0, and -1.5, respectively.

As you can see, different top players have their own settings in CS2. They are developed through experience, so simply copying parameters will not work: without experience, knowledge, and skills, conquering the heights of the legendary shooter is not possible.
