Europe's Apeks, currently ranked in the top 50 of the world rankings, has announced that Norwegian cyber athlete Halvor «vENdetta» Gulestol will take over the organization as an analyst. He previously did head coaching work at Sweden's Dignitas.
Apeks co-CEO Andres Kjær said that vENdetta is joining the team for a couple months to share his experience and help the players get to the next level: «The arrangement is currently limited to a few months so that both sides can see if things work out in the long run».
VENdetta started his career back in CS: Source, then moved to CS: GO, and in recent years has taken up coaching

He worked with Dignitas for over a year, first as an analyst and then as head coach. However, in the end, the team failed to achieve its planned goals and Dignitas' place was taken by Faruk «Pita» Pita.Apeks is currently participating in the EU Champions Spring Closed Qualifier, the results of which will determine whether the team can qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. The team has had mixed success in recent months, notably managing to climb to second place in the Pinnacle Winter Series 1, but finding themselves in only 14-15 positions in the next installment of the same tournament.
