Spirit, Imperial and 9z coaches were found to be using a "coaching bug"

ESIC has announced the names of the first three cyber athletes to be penalized following a new investigation into the use of «coaching bug». They were Luis «peacemaker» Tadeu, who is now coaching Imperial, working with Spirit Seregay «hally» Shavaev and 9z coach Rafael «zakk» Fernandez. They are accused of using chita in 2018 - 2020. Although ESIC has already sent notices to all three that they will be penalized, a final decision on the length of the punishment has not yet been made and it remains a matter of discussion.

At the same time, ESIC stressed that it cannot affect the right of players to participate in events that are held with the participation of PGL and Valve, so tournament organizers make their own decision. A few days later, Valve announced that all three trainers will not be able to participate in the major.

According to ESIC materials, hally and zakkk used a static version of the bug (the same one that banned dozens of trainers in September 2020). Luis «peacemaker» Tadeu will face a more serious punishment as he exploited a version of a bug that allows him to move freely around the map in the 2018 Imperial vs Heroic match. For him, the ban period may be up to two years.

In the near future, we can expect publications about the punishment of other players found guilty of using «coaching bug». The ESIC probably made the decision to publicize these three cyber athletes earlier as they were scheduled to go to the majors.
