Vitality's coach explained why the team needs six players

Vitality coach Remy «XTQZZZZZ» Quonyam talked about how the team plans to utilize the six-player roster. He said young player Nabil «Nivera» Benrlit started training with the team this week. The nineteen-year-old cyber athlete is expected to make his first appearance with Team Vitality at the BLAST Premier Fall Series.

According to Remy Kwonyama, the team will make permutations as the competition progresses, depending on the maps they face. This will allow some players to take a break on practice days, take turns playing, and help them make the right decisions and perform at their best.

XTQZZZZZ explained that the team decided to expand the roster to six players for several reasons. The thing is, first of all, that in recent years the competition schedule has become tighter and it has become difficult for players to cope with the preparation for matches. In addition, the financial side of the issue also matters: the team aims to become profitable, and for this it needs to participate in more events. Also, using an expanded roster will avoid the issues of player burnout and fatigue that have become a problem for many teams in 2020.
