The ex-Winstrike coach talked about the difficulties the team has faced

Russian team EPG Family recently reached the ESL Pro League playoffs and expects a successful performance in the final part of the tournament. It is made up of players who used to play under the Winstrike tag, but unilaterally cut ties with the cybersports organization after it violated the terms of their contract. So far, she has never been able to find a new partner to collaborate with. Team coach Dmitry «hooch» Bogdanov gave an interview to HLTV, talking about the challenges faced by the EPG Family recently.

In particular, the cybersportsman mentioned that offers from CIS organizations disappointed him. He believes many of them have tried to take advantage of the team's situation to force a deal on unfavorable terms. A few weeks ago, the ex-Winstrike squad was ready to announce that the team had found «a new home», but the deal fell through at the last minute because, as it turned out, the organization that offered it didn't have the necessary budget.

Nevertheless, hooch believes that playing without the support of a cyber sports organization has made the team stronger: «We have nothing to lose, so we are just trying to have a great time and show our best». The coach hopes that participation in the ESL Pro League playoffs will allow the team to attract attention and get new offers from European organizations.
