After the HLTV rankings update, the Astralis team fell out of the top ten, ending up in their worst position in years. The Danes are now only in eleventh place. They were displaced from the top by Complexity, which now completes the top ten.
The top three is still unchanged – with Big, Vitality and Evil Geniuses occupying the first places in the ranking. That said, the gap between first and third place is just over 150 points. Natus Vincere is just over twenty points behind their nearest competitors. FaZe, meanwhile, were able to improve their position, pushing fnatic out of sixth place. Some notable shifts occurred in the top 30 as well. In particular, another Russian team – Gambit Youngsters got into the rating.
In addition, the HLTV portal recently published an interesting statistic that describes how top teams have been affected by the transition to online. Astralis and mousesports – managed to adapt to the new conditions the worst of all for the last four months they lost on these positions. Team Heretics and Nemiga Gaming showed the most progress. Cyber athletes from various teams have repeatedly commented that the online format interferes with the usual team interactions and often prevents good results.
