The Astralis lineup is undergoing changes again: the team recently announced that Andreas «Xyp9x» Heuslet will be temporarily «sent to the»reserves and his place will be taken by Marco «Snappi» Pfeiffer, previously a member of the Heroic roster. Xyp9x said he wanted to take a break due to the fact that he has been experiencing symptoms of stress and burnout for months now. Snappi will probably only join the Astralis for a short period – until June, when the transfer of Patrick «es3tag» Hansen will be officially finalized.
As a reminder, Andreas Hoyslet – is already the second Astralis player who decided to take a break from competition. Two weeks ago, Lucas «gla1ve» Rossander announced that he was temporarily retiring from the roster for medical reasons. He emphasized that he needs to rest to recover and find motivation to get back to professional gaming again.
Snappi hasn't appeared in official competition since April, when Heroic moved him to the reserves. With Astralis, he will play for the first time at the BLAST Premier Spring Europe Showdown tournament, which begins June 1. Astralis will face Vitality, ENCE, NiP and sAw in the group stage. Interestingly, the team now has another cyber athlete who has played for Heroic – Jakob «JUGi» Hansen in the past.
