There is now only one copy of this knife in the world, it belongs to a man with the nickname Newb Rage. The real name, of course, is unknown. He became the owner of the most expensive knife in CS:GO in 2016, paying $100,000 for it.

However, this price tag does not deter potential buyers. The owner of the knife, Newb Rage, was approached by a potential buyer in September 2021 with an offer of $1,200,000 for the most expensive knife in CS:GO. But Newb Rage turned down the deal on the grounds that, he said, the price wasn't high enough and he wanted $1,500,000 for the kerambit. The buyer wouldn't settle for $1.5 million, and the deal didn't go through. The details became known to the general public from the words of ohnePixel, who acted as an intermediary.

If the deal were to take place, it would be the largest in the history of the game. Now the maximum single transaction for the purchase of skins is equal to $776,000 dollars.

Once again we will be talking about a bluish-colored kerambit (Surface Hardening skin), only this time without the unique 387 pattern and not as low wear as the kerambit for $1,200,000. Such a variant of Surface hardening is called Blue Gem, because on its face most of the area is pure blue color (highly valued kerambits, where the blue color covers at least half of the blade area).

As usual, the names of the parties to the deal to sell the most expensive knife in CS:GO remained secret. The only thing we can assume is that one or both parties to the transaction are Chinese because the exchange took place on the Chinese Buff exchange. The contract price for the cerambit was $120,000. On the day of sale it was about 8,700,000 - 8,800,000 rubles at the then current exchange rate.

In addition, the average price of luxury coloring on knives sold on the exchange is from 300,000 to 700,000 rubles. More expensive specimens are extremely rare. The reason is that kaesers making deals on skins with a price of several million rubles will not conduct them through exchanges, no matter how reliable and cool it is. Ultra-large sales are made at offline meetings or by using intermediaries and guarantors. This is to the fact that the kerambit, which was written about above, is unlikely to be posted on the exchange at all, and even more so, sold through it.
