The update named The Armory was released in early October, and it introduced over a hundred cosmetic items to the game, including three new skin collections. Let's see which of these have become the most popular over the past months and have gained the greatest value in the eyes of players.
AWP Crakow! (Bang!)
The main theme of one of the collections was comic book and graffiti style, and AWP Crakow! is one example of its successful application. The bright pink body of the weapon is decorated with text, as well as a fun depiction of a girl and a robot. A heart-shaped picture completes the scope. If you like designs that hint not to take the game too seriously, this is your choice.
AWP CMYK
On the other hand, AWP CMYK will appeal to those who prefer smoother color transitions and minimalist designs. There are still contrasts here, as parts of the weapon are painted in bright pink and green, but the rifle looks far less distracting. By the way, its name comes from the acronym used in printing that stands for the primary colors – cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black) – used in printing.
Desert Eagle Starcade
Your collection likely already has several bright skins for Deagle, so why not add another one. Most of the body of Desert Eagle Starcade is painted in various shades of blue, with red and green accents adding originality to the abstract design.
Glock-18 AXIA
The Glock-18 AXIA is styled similarly. The lower part of the body is covered with matte blue paint, over which a diagonally placed black pattern is applied. The upper part is painted using a blue and white color gradient. This skin for the pistol will look great next to gloves painted in similar colors.
USP-S Alpine Camo
USP-S Alpine Camo is another new skin that has gained popularity among lovers of bright colors. True to its name, "mountain camouflage" is covered with spots of camo paint, only they are not greenish and brown, but blue and purple.
UMP-45 Crimson Foil
UMP-45 Crimson Foil is another example that a minimal number of colors does not prevent a weapon from looking stylish. The handle and central part of the body are painted bright scarlet, while the magazine, stock, and individual elements are covered with silver metallic paint. Detailed textures give the weapon a futuristic look.
P250 Epicenter
Among the novelties, there is also a skin whose design uses an optical illusion. The metallic surface of P250 Epicenter is painted in a smooth gradient, over which concentric circles are drawn. They appear to be cut out of the metal and slightly distort the shape of the weapon.
R8 Revolver Tango
One of the most detailed skins in the new collections is R8 Revolver Tango. Because the revolver is not very popular, the skin is inexpensive. But it's still worth adding to your collection, even if the opportunity to show it off doesn't come very often. Probably, players liked it for its unusual design of the carved handle and the images of roses, which are neatly integrated into the contours of the body.
AK-47 Crossfade (Smooth Transition)
The selection would be incomplete without a couple of skins for the "Kalashnikov." AK-47 Crossfade from the Graphic Design collection can be called minimalist. Wide stripes crossing the body and a geometric ornament made of dots give it a stylish look, similar to the previously mentioned AWP CMYK, only in more subdued colors.
AK-47 B the Monster
But the creators of AK-47 B the Monster clearly did not aim for minimalism. This design is a real riot of colors, and in the central part, several strange creatures are drawn, whose wide-open toothy mouths catch the eye first. Bright purple and blue background, yellow arrows, a sweeping inscription on the barrel – it looks more than exciting.
