Portugal's k1ck disbands its CS:GO lineup

At the end of the week, Portuguese cybersports organization k1ck announced that it is disbanding its CS:GO roster. Thus, the squad for which the Portuguese players played lasted only four months.

In March, the Portuguese organization returned to Counter Strik after a three-year hiatus. Viktor «v1c7oR» Dyankov and Theodore «SPELLAN» Nikolov became the core of the team. Three young and less experienced cybersportsmen – AwaykeN, rafftu and SAIKY were also included.

In the last four months, the team was able to perform at only two significant events. At CEE Champions 2022, she was the leader in her group, but then lost to Coastal Mayhem of Estonia in the first round of the playoffs, eventually finishing the tournament in 9th -16th place. In addition, k1ck played at the ESEA Summer 2022 Cash Cup 1 Europe in the summer. Here it showed itself more successful, reaching the semifinals, where it lost to OG Academy,

The most prominent players of the team were Konstantin «rafftu» Turbinov and Viktor «v1c7oR» Dyankov. In addition, eighteen-year-old Slaven «AwaykeN» Lubenov showed a good performance, demonstrating a rating of 1.12 at the two mentioned events. After the lineup was dissolved, the players were granted free agent status. Their future plans are still unclear, but judging by v1c7oR's Twitter post, they plan to continue performing together.
