On the last day of Road to Rio Outsiders managed to qualify for the IEM Rio Major after they defeated Falcons. Thus, her win-loss ratio is 3 – 2, which means she will start at the majors from the Challengers stage.
Outsiders, whose leader is Jame «Jame» Ali started their performance at the RMR tournament with victories over Monte and Heroic, but the team did not manage to guarantee themselves the majors right away. In the following matches she faced difficult opponents: she lost first to Natus Vincere and then to OG. Thus, the question of getting to the majors was decided in the confrontation with the French Falcons, and the Outsiders had no problems with it. On both maps the advantage of the Russian team was overwhelming.
It is also worth mentioning the other teams that proved their right to participate in the major on the last day of the qualifiers. Most notably, Liquid defeated Evil Geniuses in the first place match at the IEM Road to Rio Americas RMR, giving it the opportunity to start in Rio right from the Legends stage. In Group A of the European tournament, Spirit distinguished themselves, who also secured their place at Legends after beating Cloud9. German BIG, who beat K23, and MOUZ, who defeated Sangal in a hard-fought battle, made it to the majors with a less noticeable advantage.
