The final list of participants of the final stage of ESL Impact League Season 2 has been revealed. The final round of this CS:GO tournament for women's teams will take place in LAN format in Jonköping, Sweden. The last teams to make it to the finals were Russia's NOFEAR5 and Brazil's FURIA fe and B4 fe.
NOFEAR5 made it to the finals with a slight advantage, beating NIP fe in the group stage by the number of maps won after the win-loss ratio of both teams was the same. They then defeated NAVI Javelins with a score of 2 – 1, thus confirming their right to a place in the final stage.
For both Brazilian teams, the path to the final was simpler: both showed a convincing superiority over their opponents with six wins each in the round-robin stage in their respective groups.
The eight teams will now meet in Jönköping on November 25 to compete for a prize pool of $123,000. They will be divided into two groups that will play a GSL format, after which the top two from each group will advance to the playoffs. Russian Nigma Galaxy, who has already won in two previous Impact Series events, are considered the tournament favorites. The most difficult opponents for them are likely to be the aforementioned Brazilian teams.
