Russell «Twistzz» Van Dulken, who plays for FaZe, revealed in an interview Monday with DotEsports that Olof «Olofmeister» Kaibier will return to the «roster on a more permanent basis». The cyber athlete will appear as early as the BLAST Premier Spring Final, and can be expected to continue playing for the Swedish squad in the near future. In the above interview, Twizz commented on olofmeister's return as follows: «I think the situation worked out best when it turned out that one of the best lurkers on the professional scene wanted to return to active play». He also noted that the team is working on creating new approaches and believes that olofmeister will make a significant contribution to FaZe's development.
Kaibier will take the place of Marcelo «coldzera» David in the roster, who left FaZe in early June, after the team fell to the lowest place in the world ranking in its history after a series of poor performances. Now FaZe management is hoping that the presence of olofmeister, who Twizz called the most talented cyber athlete he's ever played with, will give the team new life on the eve of the summer break and help it get back into the top 30.
