Cybersports organization OG has announced contract extensions for three key players on its Counter Strike roster. It is now known that Aleksi «Aleksib» Virolainen, Waldemar «valde» Bjorn Wangse and Mateusz «mantuu» Wilczewski will remain with the team until the end of the year. In this way, OG wants to emphasize their intention to continue working with these players, whom they call «the big three», after several changes were recently made to the roster. In his official statement regarding the contract extension, Aleksib said that he is very happy about this event: «I am confident that this project now has everything necessary to reach new heights, and we only need to make efforts to demonstrate these results in practice».
The three mentioned cyber athletes have been playing for OG since the organization created the CS: GO division at the end of 2019. The original roster's highest achievement was a sixth place finish in the world rankings in November 2020, but after a few months, two players (Nathan «NBK-» Schmitt and Issa «ISSAA» Murad) left the roster after a series of poor performances and player disagreements.
OG's next appearance will be at the Flashpoint 3 tournament, which will take place May 10-30. She will face the top teams in the region including Astralis, Heroic and Vitality.
