The group lineup for the upcoming DreamHack Open Fall tournament, which is set to begin in two weeks, was announced mid-week. This will be the last RMR tournament of 2020. It will feature 16 teams, which will be divided into four groups. The team that will take the last place in its group will leave the competition, the two top-ranked teams will get to the upper grid of the tournament, and the third – to the lower grid.
The attention of spectators will be drawn first of all to Group B, where three teams from the top 10 – Heroic, G2 and Astralis appeared at once. Fourth unexpectedly was Team Endpoint, who made it to the tournament through close qualifying matches, defeating mousesports twice. Mousesports itself, in turn, will have to work hard to get out of Group A, where it will compete with Vitality, fnatic and OG.
BIG, currently ranked fifth in the world rankings, is in Group C, and the rest of its members are unlikely to prevent it from advancing to the next stage. Finally, in Group D the result may be unpredictable – in this group the fight will be between ENCE, NiP, Sprout and North.
DreamHack Open Fall should be held from October 15 to 25, and the total prize pool will be $115,000.
