Brazilian team O PLANO, which has been without a cybersports organization for more than half a year, has a chance to secure support. News portal Rush B Media reports that the team is in talks with Norway's Nordawind. This news comes just hours after the latter announced that he was putting his entire current roster up for transfer. Nordawind representatives mentioned that this decision is more due to a change in the team's development strategy and future goals rather than specific poor performances.
If the Brazilians' negotiations with Nordawind prove successful, the team will find a new home for the first time since the beginning of 2021, when its core squad left MIBR and assembled a new roster around Henrique «HEN1» Teles, who used to play for FURIA. The band failed to find a permanent sponsor in the following months, and since the beginning of summer they started to perform under the O PLANO tag as an independent team. This was made possible when two players released from their obligations to MIBR, with whom they had a contract before.
O PLANO are now ranked 35th in the world rankings after finishing cs_summit 8 with a fourth place result, as well as finishing second at DreamHack Open June North America.
