Norway's Nordawid plans to completely renew its lineup

Norwegian eSports organization Nordawind announced on Thursday that it is putting all members of its current roster, which included eSports players from Denmark, Estonia and Germany led by Sabit «mirbit» Koktasar, up for transfer.

The team is currently ranked 58th in the world rankings, but Nordawind managing director Stein Willmann said the decision to disband the current roster is more strategically driven and not directly related to the team's success. He also noted that the organization has developed good relationships with players over the years, especially HS and TENZKI, who have participated in previous squads as well, so the decision was not an easy one. At the same time, the management is confident that this is the right step, in line with the overall goals and future ambitions of the organization.

A statement released by Nordawind stresses that the organization has no intention to leave the professional scene. Its approach to selection to the Nordawind Talent youth roster will also remain the same – it will focus primarily on promising players from Norway and Scandinavian countries. Joshua «m1cks» Meeks, who took over as Nordawind's head coach in June, will also remain on her staff.
