Germany's BIG, now ranked in the world's top two, has announced that Niels «k1to» Grune is returning to its starting lineup after spending five months on the youth roster. The cyber athlete will take the place of Tizian «tiziaN» Feldbusch, who in turn will remain associated with the team, but in some other role. In his four and a half years with the team, tiziaN posted an underwhelming 0.97 average rating, but contributed significantly to the team's major tournament wins in 2020 and 2022.
K1to returns to the main roster after serving as an ingame leader at BIG Academy for five months. Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG, notes that k1ro has worked hard to be back in the starting lineup and has performed well. These words are confirmed by numbers: the player's rating based on recent performances is 1.18. In addition, k1ro has made two appearances for BIG in recent months as a substitute player – at the Roobet Cup and at the IEM Cologne play-in.
BIG players are now already preparing for the second half of 2022. They will face the BLAST Premier Fall Groups in late August and then the ESL Pro League Season 15.
