One of the big news at the beginning of the week was the major changes in the Brazilian MIBR team. After a series of poor performances, its management decided to part ways with two players – Fernando «fer» Alvarenga, Epitasio «TACO» de Melo, and coach Ricardo «dead» Sinigaglia. Commenting on what happened, TACO noted that such a decision was made not by the participants, but exclusively by the management of the cyber sports organization.
The incident caused discontent of other MIBR players. Vito «kNgV» Giuseppe said he completely disagrees with the management's position. In his opinion, since July 2019 when he joined the team, the roster has already changed too often and the players have not had enough time to learn how to act cohesively and develop a style of play.
Another MIBR member, Gabriel «Fallen» Toledo asked to be removed from the starting roster. In his tweet, he explained that he does not approve of the management's decision and wants to take a break for a while to see whether to continue playing for the team further: «I must inform that I am unhappy with MIBR's decision to completely change the squad I chose to play with. We started as a team and remain a team».
It is not yet clear how the situation with MIBR will develop further. She was previously expected to return to performing next month, having taken part in IEM New York.
