On Friday, players formerly on the roster that played for Germany's ALTERNATE aTTaX announced the signing of covana. All players of the new team are related to ALTERNATE aTTaX: four of them were members of the team at the time of disbanding, and the fifth spot in the lineup will be taken by another German cyber athlete Stefan «stfN» Seier, who played for aTTaX in the past, instead of David «prosus» Hesse, who joined fnatic Rising.
In early July, ALTERNATE aTTaX announced the disbanding of its CS:GO roster, explaining the decision with a series of poor results in 2021. The team failed to prove itself either on the world stage or at regional tournaments, and its maximum achievement was 58th place in the ranking. The worst event for the organization was the previous division's relegation when it finished in last place at ESEA Premier Season 37.
