On June 19, NAVI faced G2 in one of the semifinal matches of the Blast Premier Spring Finals, and performed very well: G2 left the tournament losing 2 : 1. Natus Vincere won on the Mirage (16 – 3) and Nuke (16 – 13) maps, but lost on Train (11 – 16). Natuse Vincere will face Team Vitality in their next match, who continue their playoff push with a win over Ninjas in Pyjamas.
At Mirage NAVI managed to grab the lead from the start. Even though their opponents managed to mount successful attacks and stay 1v1 on several occasions, Natus Vincere emerged victorious each time. By the time the sides changed sides, the advantage was already overwhelming, and G2 had almost no chances left.
The game on Train was marked by one of the brightest moments of the match: Alexander «s1mple» Kostylev made an ace, destroying all five players of the opponent with headshots. However, for a while there was a feeling that G2 was managing to, if not change the course of the match, at least turn it into an even contest. On Nuke, the G2 players retook the lead for a while. NAVI maintained control of the map, but were not always able to convert it into wins. Thanks to this, G2 managed to close the gap, but the final rounds decided the matter and Natus Vincere advanced to the next stage.
