Team Natus Vincere, who lost the top spot in the HLTV rankings some time ago, has regained the lead. It managed to dislodge the G2 team, which has now dropped to third place, from the top of the list. The top is now occupied by NAVI, Vitality and G2, and the distance between them is less than a hundred points. Several other CIS teams also managed to improve their results: Virtus.Pro moved up three spots, while Nemiga Gaming – moved up six spots. However, both teams are still quite far from the top ten.
One of the NAVI participants also achieved new success in the individual competition. Alexander «s1mple» Kostylev topped HLTV's rankings, which take into account a player's performance as a difference between kills and kills. Previously, French player Kenny «kennyS» Schrab was the leader of the ranking, but s1mple beat him by more than twenty points. Interestingly, Kostylev managed to reach this position for a smaller number of maps: kennyS needed to play more than 1700 maps to rise to the top, while s1mple – only 1200.
Alexander Kostylev is also among the leaders in another indicator – average ratio between the number of kills and deaths per match. Only two players – Dmitry «sh1ro» Sokolov and Mathieu «ZywOo» Erbo surpass him in this ranking.
