NAVI will host a showcase match featuring the 2010 squad's lineup

One of the most famous teams -  NAVI's 2010 lineup, which was famous for a large number of victories in Counter Strike 1.6 - will meet the current NAVI in a showdown. This was announced on Monday by the event's general sponsor, 1xBet. The match will be held on August 1 and will be broadcast in Russian and English.

NAVI-2010 can rightfully be called one of the most successful teams in the entire Counter Strike competition. During 2010, she won a number of international competitions including IEM IV World Championship, DreamHack Winter and other major events. Over the next two years, while the 1.6 was still being contested, NAVI managed to take several more titles. The most notable are the victories in IEM V World Championship and IEM VI Global Challenge Kiev.

After the transition to the new version of the game, the team failed to achieve the same success, and in 2013 the team disbanded. Only two of the players who were part of it are still active in cyber sports at the moment.

The show match between NAVI-2010 and the current roster will be played on maps from 1.6 and CS:GO, roughly following the same pattern as the game involving Natus Vincere players and five streamers that took place in May.
