On Nov. 21, NAVI scored another victory in the IEM Beijing-Haidian championship playoffs, thus advancing to the grand finals. The match began with the Dust2 map. Although the CIS team managed to gain a slight advantage at first, the G2s began to pull ahead as soon as players got their hands on rifles. G2 won seven rounds out of the next nine. In the second half of the draw of this map, the fight was almost equal, and as a result, the European team was able to keep it to themselves (16 – 9).
On Train Natus Vincere were able to gain the lead almost immediately, winning five rounds in a row. G2 tried to get back, but they were not too successful – the first half of the draw ended with the score 9 – 6. In the second half, the CIS team continued to strengthen its advantage, and although G2 managed to win several rounds, the map draw ended with a score of 16 – 12 in favor of NAVI, largely due to the successful actions of s1mple.
As a result, the fate of the match was decided on the last map, Nuke. From the start, Natus Vincere had no problem handling G2's defense, winning eleven rounds in a row. Then the NAVI opponents were able to gain a few victories, but it was impossible to get back: Natus Vincere recorded this map on their account: 16 – 3.
The winner of the championship will be determined in the Grand Final of NAVI – Vitality, which will be held on Sunday.
