MIBR has announced an all-female lineup

Brazilian team MIBR has announced that they plan to create a women's CS: GO team. She will soon participate in the South American Women's League. The roster will be led by Bruna «bizinha» Marvila, formerly of Intel Challenge Katowice and WESG World Finals. Guilherme «walck» Moreno will be the coach.

The MIBR women's squad will soon start playing in the Grrrls League. It is one of the largest female Counter Strike: Global Offensive leagues in the world. The prize pool that is raffled off in it is $35,000. The organizer of the competition is the Game XP company. The first match of the new season will take place on January 25. For MIBR, this will be the first appearance of an all-female team since 2010 – the previous cybersports organization tried to put together an all-female roster back in the days of Counter Strike 1.6.

One of the participants, Jessica «fly» Pellegrini tweeted: «I am very happy to have this opportunity and we will do our best to prove ourselves. I am proud of all the female members of our team!».

On the same day, MIBR also announced the men's roster. It included four cyber athletes who had previously played for BOOM. Both MIBR squads are currently preparing for the competition with plans to focus on performances in Europe.
