Post-apocalyptic style skins are quite popular: players like it when weapons look like they have their own history. Plus, even high float options usually look successful, as scuffs and scratches are already part of the design. Glock-18 Wasteland Rebel (Wasteland Rebel)
One convincing way to make a skin expressive – is to paint its surface with sprawling graffiti. This is the way the authors of Glock-18 Wasteland Rebel have chosen . The body of the gun is painted in muted tones, and its upper part shows a semi-erased orange pattern. However, it is overlapped by the inscription «Kill Them All», painted in white and quite understandable without translation.
USP-S Flashback (A Look Back)
The USP-S Flashback is designed in a similar style . On the background of worn camouflage coloring with dirt stains you can see several inscriptions, the most notable of which is – «SHHH!» («TSSS!») on the muffler. However, considering the effectiveness and killing power of this weapon, the peace symbol on the grip looks a bit contradictory.
MP5-SD Kitbash (Skillful Hands)

Sometimes creators of skins in this style repaint the weapon so that it looks like it has been repaired many times, and some parts are held together only by duct tape. It is this design that makes the MP5-SD Kitbash memorable. The dark blue body of the weapon is crisscrossed with strips of duct tape in several places, and decorated with stickers and lettering. Add a couple of stickers – here they will look especially appropriate.
AWP Acheron (Acheron

And here is the design of AWP Acheron using a radiation theme. Interestingly, the same pattern is also present on MAC-10 Nuclear Garden, but there it is colored in acid-bright shades of green. Here instead of them skinmakers chose blue, white and blood-red – looks a little less bright, but the pattern – of bones and skulls, which depicts the symbol of radiation danger, is better distinguishable.

The location of the rust spots on the surface depends on the pattern index, but the blade looks like it has been used quite often anyway.
