Lucky plans to leave Heretics

French player Lucas «Lucky» Chastang has announced that he is leaving the active roster of «Heretics» and plans to consider offers from other teams in the near future. Lucky has played at Heretics since late 2019. He started working with the team when it qualified for ESL One Rio Minor and planned to take part in the major ESL One: Road to Rio, where it eventually won sixth place.

However, the team did not manage to stay at that level. The situation became more complicated when team coach Morgan «B1GGY» Madhur was disqualified for seven and a half months for using «a coaching bug». Unable to find a way to stabilize the situation, the team lost several players. Nabil «Nivera» Benrlitom moved to Vitality and two others followed. Alexander «xms» Forte, who has taken breaks in appearances before due to health problems, has finally left the team. Brian «Maka» Kanda has also retired from active roster duty, looking to find more promising offers in 2021. Another player, Fabio «kioShiMa» Fiei, has been sent to the reserves.

This brings the number of active players in the Heretics down to just three: kioShiMa is «on the bench», while Maka and Lucky are considering a move to another team in late 2020 – early 2021.
