American team Liquid has officially confirmed that Michael «Grim» Vince will officially join the CS:GO roster. He will fill the seat vacated by the departure of Nick «nitr0» Canella. The 19-year-old cyber athlete has been playing for Triumph since early 2020 and has performed well in many matches, including appearances against MIBR, 100Thieves and Evil Geniuses at BLAST Premier Showdown and cs_summit 6. He reached a rating of 1.31, resulting in a high chance of getting into one of the top teams in the region.
The first information that Grim might move to Liquid appeared back in late July, when the team announced the departure of nitr0. The latter played for this team for about five years and to date remains the last of the original squad players. Grim will make his first appearance for Liquid at the DreamHack Open Summer tournament, which begins in just a few days. Liquid is in the same group as Triumph, which means that Michael Vince will have to face his former teammates in one of the first matches.
In an interview that Grim gave shortly after his move to Liquid was confirmed, the player said that the opportunity to play for this team means a lot to him. He will be looking to win as many tournaments as possible and do well in the majors.
