In a recent interview with HLTV's Marco «Snappi» Pfeiffer, who has been the leader of c0ntact as of late, talked about his plans and what the future holds for the team. Flashpoint c0ntact was only able to place ninth in the previous season of the tournament, but now looks to improve on that result. There are only two players left from the old squad – Rokas «EspiranTo» Milasaukas and Otto «ottoNd» Sihvo. In addition to Snappi, the new roster includes Rigon «rigoN» Gashi and Lotan «Spinx» Giladi.
Snappi joined c0ntact in June, when the team did not perform well, in particular, failed to qualify for cs_summit 6. Changes in the lineup and a break from official appearances helped with this problem. The player emphasized that it was important not only to pick strong participants, but also to create the right atmosphere in the team. Although rigoN and Spinx – are young players who still have a lot to learn, they have the mindset to improve their results quickly.
In the near future, c0ntact will take part in DreamHack Masters Winter and Flashpoint 2. Marko said the main challenge for the team now will be the fact that the lineup changes occurred shortly before the tournament. Therefore, the main task for them will be to get out of the group.
The first official match of the new contact squad will be held on Thursday – they will have to play against fnatic.
