Kjaerbye is leaving the Endpoint lineup for personal reasons

Danish cyber athlete Markus «Kjaerbye» Kjaerbye is leaving the Endpoint roster after spending just over four months with the team. According to a statement from the organization, this decision was made «by mutual agreement». In a statement released on the matter, a team spokesperson commented that Kjerbier «is currently going through difficult events in his personal life that require his attention», and as such, is unable to perform at the level required of a professional player.

Kjerbier joined Endpoint in the summer of 2022, two years after he decided to resume his career. He took the place of Jordanian cyber athlete Mohammad «BOROS» Malhas on the team. Kaerbye has previously stated that he plans to end his professional career because «he no longer feels the sense of purpose needed to perform at the highest level». However, in 2022, his circumstances seem to have changed as he decided to return to the game again.

Endpoint was thus his first appearance on the professional scene after a rather long break (he had previously played for HYENAS in mid-2021). For Endpoint, his involvement proved fruitful in the end: the team not only stopped losing ground in the world ranking, but also moved up to 24th place. However, she failed to advance further and is now in the fourth ten.
