The 2024 CS2 competition schedule is divided into two seasons, with the first season running from January through June and the second – from July through December. In addition, 2024 will likely be the last time the tournament system exists in a familiar form. Back in mid-2023, Valve announced that they wanted to make the tournament system more open.
