forZe won the CCT Central Europe Series 2 tournament

Russia's forZe emerged victorious at the CCT Central Europe Series 2 tournament with a win over OG in the grand finals. Thus, the team will receive $22,000 in prize money, as well as 150 points in the regional rankings.

Many considered OG to be the favorite of the competition, as the team had the highest place in the world ranking of all participants (it is now in 13th position). The Russian team did not have much trouble advancing through the playoffs, but they failed to maintain the same level in the OG Grand Final.

The Russian team started their way in the tournament right from the playoffs, as they received a direct invitation to it. Advancing to the finals, she defeated teams such as los kogutos, Finest, and Into the Breach. The victory over OG required a lot of effort from forZe: it took three rounds to determine the leader, in which she lost on Dust, but won on Inferno and Overpass with a small score difference.

Thus, forZe now has 185 points in the CCT regional ranking. The top three teams by the time the fourth round of the series concludes will have the opportunity to play in the final stage. The two remaining online tournaments of the CCT Central Europe Series will start on October 9 and November 26, respectively.

In addition, already on October 4, forZe will have to start the fight to get to the majors at the IEM Road to Rio. She will play her first match against Sprout.
