Representatives of the ex-Winstrike team spoke about the disruption of signing a contact with one of the major CIS cybersports organizations. Without naming it, lineup coach Dmitry «hooch» Bogdanov said an agreement between the players and the organization had already been reached. However, after the players had already signed their contracts, they were informed that the deal was off.
This was a big disappointment for the players. According to hooch, they had already started looking forward to the moment when the contract could be officially announced, but the cooperation was impossible due to the fact that the cyber sports organization could not find enough funds. Dmitry Bogdanov considers such behavior of the other party unprofessional: the situation when the budget shortage was announced after the signing of the lineup indicates insufficient quality management and planning.
Ex-Winstrike will continue to look for possible partners. Hooch noted that they will now have to start all over again as they turned down several other offers, expecting to sign the aforementioned contract. He hopes to find an organization that treats players with more respect.
