ENCE, now ranked third in the world rankings, announced Tuesday that it has extended coach Eetu «sAw» Saha's contract for another season. After the team formed an international roster in early 2021, sAw helped the team reach the next level and achieve top positions at the world's biggest tournaments.
In an interview published on the ENCE YouTube channel to mark the occasion, sAw talked about how his perception of the team has changed over time and shared his vision for the team's future. In particular, sAw mentioned that after ENCE finished second at ESL Pro League Season 15 and IEM Dallas, they expect to win a major competition: «We have the right potential, but we probably need a bit more stability to realize it. I'm sure it will happen and we will achieve what we set out to do, get that win and even be able to claim the top spot in the rankings».
In recent months, other members of the team have repeatedly praised the coach. ENCE iname leader Marco «Snappi» Pfeiffer described him as the best coach he has ever worked with. The player believes that it is because of the feedback he receives from sAw that he has been able to make so much progress.
