Joshua m1cks Meeks to become Nordavind's head coach

Twenty-two-year-old cyber athlete Joshua «m1cks» Meeks will join European team Nordavind to take over as head coach. He previously served as an assistant coach and analyst at Cloud9, so this transition can be considered a new level for him. At Nordawind, he will take Dennis «Rytter» Rytter's place.

Meeks has worked as an analyst for several teams in his career, including Bravado, eUnited and Rogue. In an interview that the cyber athlete previously gave to HLTV, he mentioned his intention to become a top coach, but noted that top North American teams are not currently looking for applicants for the role. The offer from Nordavind was therefore a great opportunity for him: «I am delighted to join Nordavind and take up the position of head coach for the first time in my life. I look forward to developing further and hope to take this team to new heights».

In addition, he hopes that while working with this team he will not have the added challenges of having to constantly travel. Meeks mentioned that he will be spending more time in Europe to make the most of the opportunities that have arisen.
