DreamHack has talked about hosting the Masters Winter tournament

Representatives of tournament organizer DreamHack have revealed how the Masters Winter event will be run, as well as announcing which teams will be invited. The tournament will be held Nov. 30 through Dec. 6 in an online format that has become familiar over the past year. The teams will be divided into four regions by geographical principle, and the total prize pool will amount to $250,000. 

The European part of the tournament will be the largest, with 16 teams taking part, 12 of which will receive direct invitations, and 4 will be determined by the result of qualifying matches. It has already been confirmed that DreamHack's partner teams – are Astralis, G2, Complexity and Natus Vincere. 

In North America, Evil Geniuses and Liquid will be joined by four other invited teams and the two winners of the qualifiers. Asia and Oceania will be represented by four teams in each division. It is known that in each of the regions three teams will receive direct invitations, and one will be determined as a result of selection, but the specific names have not been announced yet. 

DreamHack Masters Winter will be the last tournament in the Masters series of the ESL Pro Tour, where it will be possible to earn ranking points before IEM Katowice.
