Just a few days after Spirit announced putting Abdul «degster» Hasanov up for transfer, the player received an invitation from OG. The organization announced that he will join it for the BLAST Premier Spring Final. The Russian cyber athlete will have to take the place of Mateusz «mantuu» Wilczewski, who will miss the tournament due to illness.
At the end of last week, degster announced that he was leaving the Spirit roster despite the fact that the team achieved significant success at the major, reaching the semifinals. As the main reason he mentioned the impossibility to move to Serbia for a long period of time, as it was demanded by the team management.
Formally, the degster status remains the same, and Spirit is open to offers from other organizations. However, it has agreed to provide an OG player on loan for the BLAST Premier Spring Final.
The BLAST Premier Spring Final tournament will be held in Lisbon, Portugal from June 15-19. OG will face tough matches already at the initial stage, as it found itself in the same group with two teams from the top-3 of the world ranking (Natus Vincere and ENCE), as well as BIG. In the opening match, OG will face NAVI, who also recently had to change their lineup.
