Cybersports organization Complexity has announced that it is ending its partnership with Jamie «keita» Hall. The British player, who is currently 28 years old, has been coaching this team for almost two years, having led it through four dozen competitions.
The team's management made such a decision after the team dropped out of IEM Cologne, losing to G2 and Virtus.pro and finishing in last place. Complexity has not been able to produce consistent results in recent years. Their most notable accomplishment was their performance at the BLAST Premier Spring Series last year, where they managed to defeat Astralis and Vitality. However, in the long term it was not possible to maintain the stated level.
The move online brought additional difficulties to the team, which were exacerbated by the departure of Owen «oBo» Schlatter. Hopes that a return to a LAN format would make the team feel more confident have also been dashed. The question of who will become Complexity's coach now remains open for now. Perhaps it will turn out to be Danny «zonic» Sørensen or Wilton «zews» Prado – these experienced coaches are just now open to partnership offers. Complexity will be taking a break from tournaments in the coming weeks, so its management team will have a chance to consider various options.
