British cybersports organization Coalesce has decided to disband its CS:GO roster. All five players and the coach will be released from the obligations of their current contracts, will be granted free agent status and will be able to consider offers from other teams.
Coalesce was formed in August 2021 as a result of the merger of several British organizations. Together they hoped to create a team that would take a leading position in the British cybersports scene. They had originally planned to form a squad of predominantly British players, but later abandoned that idea. In February, Coalesce acquired several Swedish players, but this roster didn't last long either.
In a statement, the organization said that although not all of its goals were achieved, working with the team was a valuable experience for the organization, which allowed it to understand how to develop Counter Strike in the future. Coalesce promises that you can hear about her new steps in this discipline soon. A similar opinion was expressed by former Coalesce coach Mihajlo «feedme» Petrovic: «Unfortunately, we did not achieve the results we all wanted and expected, but it was still a delightful experience – to work with each of the players in this team».
