Doppler and Gamma Doppler are among the most notable skins for CS: GO. They can be found on different types of knives and have several variations with different color combinations. They are characterized by a marbled and wavy pattern that gives the knife an original look. The cost of a skin can vary depending on how unique the color combination is, so it's worth figuring out the phases ahead of time to sell your skins at a bargain price or not overpay extra when buying.
Types of Gamma Doppler skins
Gamma Doppler coloring is found in two main varieties – mythic and legendary. When obtaining a knife with this pattern, there is about a 90% chance of getting a mythical variant with one of the four phases. The phases are distinguished by the presence of different colors and their fractions: for example, Phase 1 – is a combination of black and green with black predominating, and Phase 2 – the same two colors but with green predominating. Phase 3 and Phase 4 – three-color. One combines green, black and aquamarine and the other – green, black and lime. The more expensive of them is considered Phase 2 because of the large proportion of green coloring, and the price of a knife with this coloring can reach 110-150% of the market price.
The legendary Gamma Doppler coloring falls in less than 10% of all knives of this type. It is entirely green, which is why players also call it «emerald» (Emerald). A knife with the legendary Gamma Doppler coloring can also sell for 900% of the market price (depending on the type of knife).

Types of Doppler Skins
The coloring of Doppler knives has a similar classification. The most expensive options – legendary, with a predominant red (Ruby, ruby) or blue (Sapphire, sapphire) color. Black Pearl skins are also highly prized. They are of the Ancient rarity and are a combination of black and very few other colors, such as purple or pale red.
Cheaper variants – are four phases that are classified similarly to the Gamma Doppler varieties, only using other colors:
-
Phase 1 – black and red, with more black;
-
Phase 2 – also black and red, but more red;
-
Phase 3 – black and blue, with more black;
-
Phase 4 – black and blue, but more blue.
In addition, Phase 1 and 3 may have admixtures of green and brown colors. The most expensive of these knives is – Doppler Phase 2, also called Pink Galaxy.
Thus, among both Doppler and Gamma Doppler skins, there are variants of different rarity. The most expensive and rare of these – variants with a single-color wavy pattern, such as Emerald, Ruby or Sapphire, and Black Pearl. The phases are less expensive, but they can also give quite a boost to the market value of the knife.
