The former Vitality captain has spoken about his plans

British player Alex «ALEX» McMeekin, who until recently served as captain for French team Vitality, recently gave an interview where he talked about his future plans. He said that he has not yet considered any specific options, but does not rule out that he will continue his cybersports career on another continent. At the moment it is not crucial for him where exactly to perform – in Europe or in the United States. He believes that a player's career is usually short, so he will choose the option that will be convenient for him and allow him to earn enough.

According to the player, one of the main selection criteria for him will be the travel schedule. It was the need to constantly move from place to place that was one of the main reasons he left Vitality. McMeekin believes that a good option for him would be to join a team that competes in Flashpoint. This would allow him more freedom to shape the calendar, as most of the teams playing ESL and BLAST are not present in Flashpoint.

Alex McMeekin left the Vitality main roster in early March. He was put up for transfer shortly after and is now ready to consider offers from various teams.
