Former members of several Brazilian CS:GO teams recently teamed up to form a new team. The players who made up its roster had previously negotiated contract terminations with their cybersports organizations – MIBR, FURIA, Sharks and DETONA, with no specific plans to move to any particular organization.
The creation of O PLANO was in a sense the result of failed negotiations with MIBR in January. By the beginning of the year, the situation was that five of the six current O PLANO players were contractually bound to other organizations, and only Lucas «LUCAS1» Teles had free agent status. As a result, for about five months the players were unable to perform. Finally, by May, although the search for a cybersports organization with which the players could cooperate never bore fruit, the players secured the termination of their previous contracts and can now compete with a new roster.
The debut performance for O PLANO will be participation in the open qualification for the North American ranking tournament cs_summit 8, which will be held in early May. To date, the roster has six members, with one of them, Vicius «vsm» Moreira, getting the opportunity to participate in Valve-sponsored events after the company relaxed the rules for players who had received VAC bans in the past. Rafael «cogu» Camargo became the coach of the team.
