Recently, one of the NAVI players Kirill «Boombl4» Mikhailov gave an interview for HLTV portal, in which he talked about his experience of playing CS:GO, as well as how players' lives have changed during the pandemic. Boombl4 started playing on the professional scene since 2018, and in 2019 joined Natus Vincere, where he achieved the greatest results.
Kirill noted that the pandemic has changed his life quite a lot: with most of the issues having to be solved online, the days are becoming similar to one another, and it is very tiring. However, he takes the restrictions seriously, realizing their necessity for safety.
Talking about the stability of the team's results, the player noted that in CS: GO in principle it is quite difficult to constantly demonstrate good performance. If a series of wins followed by losses, it does not necessarily mean that the level of the team is deteriorating: perhaps it's because it got «an uncomfortable» opponent or the players overlooked some aspect of preparation. The only team that managed to achieve stability recently was Astralis – , but for them it turned into burnout, because of which several players had to take a break from playing.
Boombl4 named a successful performance in Katowice as the brightest victory in his career. It was his first achievement at such a high level and he managed to show a great individual game.
