History

Aurora Gaming was established in August 2022 in Serbia. Despite being a relatively new team, it has made a significant impact on European tournaments. To date, besides CS2, its members also compete in Apex Legends, Dota 2, MLBB, and Warcraft III.

Tournaments and Achievements

Aurora Gaming has made notable appearances in several CS2 competitions. For instance, in June, it secured third place at the Mesa Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 — a tournament with a $100,000 prize pool held in Ulaanbaatar. Other successful performances include 3rd-4th places at events such as the Roobet Cup 2023, ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024, Skyesports Championship 2024, and a fourth place at ESL Challenger League Season 47.

However, the team's most significant achievement to date was its successful showing at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024. Aurora Gaming finished second, losing in the final to MIBR and securing $20,000 in prize money. In the group stage, Aurora advanced past Party Astron and SunS, and defeated Rebels in the playoffs.

According to statistics on the organization's official website, as of now, the teams across various disciplines have won over a million in prize money and secured six trophies.
